Heritage Tanks Industrial Pty Ltd has an exemplary record and has of supplying high quality liquid storage tanks in Australia and overseas for several decades and has recently gone to the next level of innovation in water tank construction.
The company now offers profiled GALVABOND® steel tank walls of up to 2.95mm thickness. The GALVABOND® steel is supplied by BlueScope Steel and meets Australian Standards AS1365 and AS 1397:2001. This Standard specifies requirements for hot-dipped zinc-coated or aluminium/zinc-coated steel sheet and strip, up to 5.0 mm, which ensures that their customers are getting a quality product.
This new product is exclusive to Heritage Water Tanks due to its unique wall profile, giving it superior strength and resilience.
Owner and Director of Heritage Tanks Industrial, Murray Tognela said that the Company understands the importance of tank wall rigidity, liner integrity and quality roof engineering.
“Getting these key elements right significantly reduces maintenance issues from arising due to de-lamination, leaking liners, wind buckling and corrosion.” Mr Tognela said.
“The benefits of profiled GALVABOND® steel tank walls are that they have greater resistance to wind buckling due to greater wall rigidity, along with superior corrosion resistance and reduced stretcher strain.” These properties make the profiled GALVABOND® product even more suitable for use in extreme environments, including marine/coastal environments and in Fire Control.
