thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (Australia) Pty Ltd recently appointed two new staff members to further advance the company’s products and services offerings and project delivery.
New Head of Sales in Australia
Ben Suda has been appointed as the new Head of Sales in Australia. In his new role Ben is responsible for developing and delivering the tkIS-AU National Sales Strategy that supports the Company’s direction and objectives, and ensures a strong pipeline of projects across all products and services. He is tasked with leading all strategic and systematic sales operations to ensure a targeted approach to sales opportunities that utilises resources and maximises sales efforts.
“Ben brings with him extensive knowledge of our customers and competitors and a deep understanding of the market and the key industries that we operate in,” the company said.
After completing his Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University, Ben has gone on to hold several management positions leading sales, marketing and operations with organisations including Minprovise, Metso and Boart, through which he has gained a wealth of sales management experience.
“We are confident the experience and expertise Ben brings with him will prove to be greatly beneficial to both the sales team and the wider organisation and that he will be a valuable addition to the Company.”
New Head of Network of Excellence (NoE)
The company has also engaged the services of Humberto Valladares as the new Head of Network of Excellence (NoE). The NoE is the project delivery arm of the business, encompassing all functions within an EPC(M) environment.
Humberto has recently arrived in Australia from Brazil and brings with him a distinguished background in both Project Management and delivery from around the world. Humberto holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Federal University of Minas Gerais State and is certified as a Project Management Professional by PMI and a PM@Siemens Project Director and commenced his career with a private Engineering and Construction company in Brazil. He has had considerable project delivery experience working for Voest Alpine and Siemens prior to moving into Operations Management for the last 7 years.
Prior to joining thyssenkrupp, Humberto held the position Project Execution LatAM Director with GE, and was responsible for the P&L activities of projects across multiple countries. Humberto led the Project Management, After Sales Services and Construction, Execution and Commissioning teams for GE LatAm.
